The Rozova Dolina Bulgarian School in London completes its project with the support of NEF ‘13 Centuries of Bulgaria’

Thanks to the Fund’s financial support for the session titled ‘Young Bulgarians Abroad with a Focus on Bulgarian Folklore’, Rozova Dolina [Rose Valley] School in London completed its project ,‘A Bulgarian Island in the Isles’.

More than 160 children aged between 5 and 16 have studied at the Rozova Dolina School for over 10 years. The Bulgarian school is included in the list of Sunday schools approved and co-financed by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Bulgaria.

The project supported by the Fund was ambitious: it included augmenting the collection of Bulgarian folk costumes; buying materials to decorate the rooms where the children study and create; and setting up a club for weekly classes in Bulgarian folklore.
