In 2012, under the patronage of the Mayor of Sofia, Mrs. Yordanka Fandakova, the Initiative Committee presented an idea for a fundraising campaign “For Life”. The aim is to leverage funds to purchase medical equipment to ensure modern treatment of cancer patients.

Partners and co-organizers of the initiative at this moment are Sofia Municipality, NEF “13 Centuries Bulgaria”, Oncology Hospital Ltd., APOZ, AstraZeneca, Novartis, Bulgarian Business Leaders Forum (BBLF), Association of Light Industry Companies, Privat System, Quick Quality Service, PR agency Vipart, advertising agency Noavis, Intuition Studio, Sound-recording studio Brambar, BTA, BNR, Darik Radio, BG Mama, Tialoto.bg and I the Woman.

In 2015 in the National Theatre “Ivan Vazov” with the participation of NEF “13 Centuries Bulgaria”, a charity auction of 115 works of art was held.

On March 23, 2018, the NEF “13 Centuries Bulgaria”, in fulfillment of the donation will, provided the University Specialized Hospital for active treatment in oncology in Sofia, with funds amounting to 149 729, 26 BGN gathered on the “For Life” initiative.

Part of the donation of the Fund for the hospital are also 59 paintings, totaling 25 050 BGN, unsold during the auction.
