On 7 May 2022, the Gabenski Gallery, the regional centre of the ‘13 Centuries of Bulgaria’ National Endowment Fund in Tryavna, opened the ‘Unreal World’ exhibition. Official guests at the event included Mr Yuri Valkovski, Deputy Minister of Culture; Ms Silvia Krasteva, Mayor of Tryavna; and Assoc. Prof. Robert Tsanev, National Academy of Arts, Orphey Mindov, Director of Tryavna National Secondary School of Applied Arts.
The exhibition is jointly organised by the Woodcarving Section of the Union of Bulgarian Artists, and the Tryavna National Secondary School of Applied Arts, and forms part of the traditionally held Days of Woodcarving in Tryavna. It features more than 20 artists with over 30 artworks in wood, all created in the last few years.
The exhibition continues until the end of May 2022.
