NEF ‘13 Centuries of Bulgaria’ guarantees transparency and respectable support of socially significant initiatives
CauseBG is a project of ‘13 Centuries of Bulgaria’ National Endowment Fund where anyone can propose a cause as long as it is patriotic, socially significant, and close to the heart of Bulgarians. After a check of the required documents and the signing of an agreement, the initiative will be published on the donation website.
The platform for sharing projects of enduring value, CauseBG, is further evidence of the Fund’s undaunted aspiration for charitableness and patriotic activities.
On it, anyone can share their idea completely altruistically, develop it with like-minded people, and seek public support to build a valuable project for the benefit of the people. Moreover, the Fund, with its long history and honourable heritage, will be a natural guarantor for the fair collection and spending of funds.
The ‘13 Centuries of Bulgaria’ National Endowment Fund is the only such organisation to have withstood the test of time. Over years, it has maintained the National Revival spirit of donorship and generous patriotism.
CauseBG is wide open to large-hearted individuals and organisations because it translates and builds on the original concept behind NEF ‘13 Centuries of Bulgaria’, laid down in a law on its establishment that precisely regulates its activities.

The donation website offers an opportunity for everyone to promote their socially significant idea or to support someone else’s, according to their resources. However, creative inspiration is not enough reason for a worthy cause to find a place on the platform. A set of mandatory documents is required to ensure flawless justification and financial control at each stage of the campaign.
Further, supporters of the cause can follow online the percentage of the amount collected after the end of the announced period.
Cause BG observes the principles of donation established by international practice: legality, transparency, honesty, integrity, and fiscal responsibility; and the ‘13 Centuries of Bulgaria’ National Endowment Fund ensures the implementation of the will of donors.
