On 27 April 2023, Radoy Ralin’s poetic collection, ‘Late Discovery: Lyrics’, was presented in Prof. Vasil Gerov Hall.
The selection and arrangement were the work of Sophia Stoyanova-Doneva, the writer’s granddaughter; the layout design was by artist Roman Kisyov, and thevolume was published by Moderno izkustvo [Modern Art].
The collection marks the 100th anniversary of the birth of the writer, poet and satirist Radoy Ralin (1923–2004). His poems, epigrams and other works have been translated into 37 languages. In 1993, Ralin was the first recipient of the Rayko Aleksiev Award.
The former executive director of NEF ‘13 Centuries of Bulgaria’ and current director of BNR’s Hristo Botev channel, Kin Stoyanov, son of Radoy Ralin, was the initiator of the event.
