The latest poetry collection by Kalina Vladi, “Prickly Tenderness”, was presented on 30 November 2017 in “Sarafska House”. Organizers are the National Endowment Fund “13 Centuries Bulgaria” and Community Center “Mladost – 2003” in the city.

Kalina Vladi is the poetic alias of actress Vasilka Sumeva who, for years, worked in Municipal Dramatic Theatre “Nevena Kokanova” in Dupnitsa. In 2016, she released her first book and, for overall contribution to the cultural activity of the town, was honored with the prize Leader of the year in Dupnitsa.
