On 15 August 2025, India’s Independence Day, the Devam Foundation launched a project at the Gabenski Gallery to catalogue and digitise selected footage from the life and creative career of Zlatko Paunov, sculptor and donor to NEF ‘13 Centuries of Bulgaria’.
As a collector of Eastern art, Paunov travelled extensively in Southeast Asia and Africa. He sculpted the statue of Mohandas K. Gandhi [Mahatma Gandhi], installed in San Francisco. In his studio in New York, he conducted numerous experiments before presenting it to the public.
Original photos from the artist’s studio were shown at the Fund’s Gabenski Gallery.
