On 16 October 2025, the ‘13 Centuries of Bulgaria’ National Endowment Fund made a donation to the Municipality of Kyustendil.
It numbered 123 books in a variety of genres—Bulgarian and world history, culture, literature and art, written by eminent Bulgarian scientists. The works were printed by several publishers, including St Kliment Ohridski University Press, Bulgarian Academy of Sciences, National Academy of Arts, Parnassus Publishing, and the Gutenberg, Zahariy Stoyanov, Sibia, Sluntse, Fliorir, and Janet-45 publishing houses.
They included monographs from the Fund’s series, ‘Contemporary Bulgarian Art. Names’, such as ‘Rumen Skorchev’, ‘Genko Genkov’, ‘Hristo Neykov’, ‘Nayden Petkov’, ‘Encho Pironkov’, ‘Hristo Stefanov’, ‘Bozhidar Bonchev’, ‘Petar Dochev’, ‘Pavel Koychev’, ‘Ivan Gazdov’, ‘Elza Goeva’, ‘Todor Panayotov’, and ‘Ivan Dimov’.
