The Novel of the Year jury: on the changes in Bulgarian literature in a pandemic situation

The ‘13 Centuries of Bulgaria’ National Endowment Fund, organiser of the Novel of the Year National Competition, continues the tradition of talks with the jury of the literary contest.

Professors Boyan Biolchev, Amelia Licheva and Plamen Doynov, along with Atanas Kapralov and Zdravka Evtimova, presented their views on the development of Bulgarian books, based on the 34 competing novels provided for the contest by their publishers.

In the Prof. Vasil Gerov Hall at the Fund’s headquarters, they discussed whether the pandemic has changed the language, subjects, and themes in Bulgarian literature.
