An exhibition of the works of the participants in the Form 2018 Symposium opened on 25 August 2018 at the NEF ‘13 Centuries of Bulgaria’ Gabenski Gallery in Tryavna. Organised by the Tryavna National Secondary School of Applied Arts, it includes paintings and sculptures by fourteen distinguished artists from the region—seven sculptors and seven painters.
NEF ‘13 Centuries of Bulgaria’, the Union of Bulgarian Artists and the Municipality of Tryavna are permanent partners of the secondary school and traditionally support the holding of the Form Symposium. In 2018, it was held from 17 to 26 August. A continuation of the traditional plein-air event conducted by the Tryavna School of Applied Arts, ‘Bet in Tryavna’, the symposium is a platform for broadening contacts between the artists and an opportunity to become acquainted with the rich cultural history of the School and its vitality. At the same time, it promotes art throughout the region of the Central Balkan Mountain and establishes the Tryavna School of Applied Arts at a contemporary art centre.
