Exhibition of paintings by Krasimir Zhelev at the Sarafs’ House in Samokov

On 13 September 2024, at 5:30 p.m., an exhibition featuring the artist Krasimir Zhelev opens at the Sarafs’ House, the NEF ‘13 Centuries Bulgaria’ regional centre in Samokov. The joint organisers are NEF ‘13 Centuries Bulgaria’ and the town’s Retro Art Gallery.

 

The exposition consists of more than 20 paintings by the artist, produced in different periods.

 

The exhibition continues until 30 September 2024.

 

 

Krasimir Zhelev

Born on 27.02.1968, in the village of Vasilevo, Dobrich region, Zhelev graduated from the National Secondary School of Fine Arts in Kazanlak and in Pedagogy of the Plastic Arts, Painting speciality, from the Konstantin Preslavski University of Shumen.

 

In 1992, he became a member of the Society of Shumen Artists. Since 2016, he has lived and worked in the village of Eleshnitsa, Blagoevgrad region, principally in the areas of painting and drawing.

 

His works are owned by many private galleries in the country, collectors and lovers of fine art, both in Bulgaria and abroad, including England, Italy, France, Germany, Poland, Russia, Holland, Romania, Turkey, Japan, and China.
