In January 2024, pursuant to the decision of its Management Council, NEF ‘13 Centuries of Bulgaria’ provided financial support to a project involving the upcoming presentation of the 2024 International Award of the Nicola Ghiuselev Foundation.
Initially launched by BAS on the 80th anniversary of the birth of the famous Bulgarian opera singer and painter, this is a creative project dedicated to the tenth anniversary of the death of Maestro Nicola Ghiuselev. The award will be made between 25–30 October 2024 at a gala concert at the Sofia Opera and Ballet House to five nominated artistes: three opera singers, a conductor, and a scenographer.
The Fund is supporting the overall design and production of the award’s renowned trophies, and the diplomas that will be presented to the winning artists.
