On 28 January 2022, the first meeting of the jury for the ‘13 Centuries of Bulgaria’ National Prize in support of young talent in contemporary arts and science took place in the NEF central office, Sofia.
From the applications received, the jury nominated the following participants for the competition:
Ivalina Trendafilova was accepted for a 36-month postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Namur, Belgium, under the BEWARE Programme: Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions.
Ana Kostova will study Painting at Master’s level, at the Muthesius Academy of Art in Kiel, Germany, from 2021 to 2023.
Victoria Zhelyazkova will study for a Master’s Degree in Cultural Sociology at the Masaryk University in Czechia, between March 2021 to January 2023.
Delyan Balev will enrol in the Joint Master’s Programme in Cultural Differences and Transnational Processes at the University of Vienna, Austria, between 2001 and 2023.
In support of each nominated applicant, NEF ‘13 Centuries of Bulgaria’ commits itself to launching a donative campaign entitled ‘Support a Talent—Donate!’
