On 16 October 2019, at the Gabensky Gallery, the ‘13 Centuries of Bulgaria’ National Endowment Fund presented the exhibition, ‘Around the World in 270 Days’ by the Bulgarian-born Argentinian artist Stella Sidi, as well as the documentary film accompanying the exposition. It was first shown in June in the Prof. Vasil Gerov Hall, under the patronage of Bulgaria’s Vice President, Iliana Yotova.
The opening was attended by the Chief Expert of the Commission on Bulgarian Citizenship to the Administration of the President, Milena Dimitrova; Deputy Regional Governor, Maria Peneva; the Mayor of Tryavna, Doncho Zahariev; Deputy Mayor Nikolina Nikolova; Chairperson of the Municipal Council, Silvia Krasteva; the Director of the Museum of Woodcarving and Icon Painting, Yulia Ninova; the Director of the Tryavna National Secondary School of Applied Arts, Orphey Mindov; the honorary citizen of Tryavna and former Mayor, Todor Sharlandzhiev, as well as writers, artists and journalists from the TNS—Net Television Tryavna.
The exhibition continues until 17 November 2019.
