On 8 December 2025, the ‘13 Centuries Bulgaria’ National Endowment Fund made a donation to the Prof. Vasil Zahariev City Art Gallery in Samokov.
The donation comprised paintings by the artists who took part in the 2025 ‘Threads of Time’ Plein-air Event, organised by NEF ‘13 Centuries of Bulgaria’ in Samokov. Traditionally, the event is held in August, and is attended by Bulgarian artists working in the fields of visual arts, video, computer graphics and animation. It also included two aquarelles titled ‘Barriers’, by artist Georgi Baev (1924–2007).
The artworks are intended to enrich the gallery’s collection of contemporary Bulgarian art.
