On 14 October 2025, the screening of ‘Monasterial Hunting Grounds’, a feature documentary produced under the ‘Archaeworld’ project, took place in the Prof. Vasil Gerov Hall of the ‘13 Centuries Bulgaria’ National Endowment Fund. The film was realised with the support of the Sofia Municipality.
Exploring the life of the medieval Bulgarian through the prism of his hunting skills, it opens a window into his connection to nature, survival skills and spiritual values.
The screening was followed by an informal meeting and a brief discussion with the film team. The production of the documentary tale was made possible also thanks to the cooperation of the Regional History Museum in Sofia.
