In May 2024, NEF ‘13 Centuries of Bulgaria’ will, for the thirteenth time, award its National Literary Prize for Bulgarian Novel of the Year, to stimulate and promote contemporary fiction. Publishers and authors of novels published in Bulgarian for the first time in 2023 are eligible for the 2024 competition.

 

A jury selected by the Fund’s Management Council will nominate six finalists, from whom the prize-winner will be chosen.

 

The deadline for submission of novels in six copies is 12 February 2024. They should be sent to the Fund’s headquarters, at this address: 1, Prof. Vasil Gerov Sq., Lozenets Qtr., Sofia 1421.
