In 2026, with a decision of its Management Council, NEF ‘13 Centuries of Bulgaria’ contributed financially the Civic Association of the Liberal, Ambitious and Solidarity Group (GLAS – Bosilegrad), organiser of the 33rd edition of the Easter International Children’s Festival in the town. NEF ‘13 Centuries of Bulgaria’ has, over the years, repeatedly supported the festival by holding exhibitions within the event’s programme, and making donations to the Association.
Taking place from 9 to 14 April in Bosilegrad, this year’s festival will convey a message for all Balkan and other European peoples on the meaning and importance for a common future for all in the region, and the Balkans as a whole. As part of the event, the children will visit the Rila Monastery, a symbol of Bulgarian culture and history, declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Partners of GLAS – Bosilegrad in organising the 33rd Easter International Children’s Festival in Bosilegrad, in addition to the Fund, are the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Bulgaria, the Bulgarian Memory Foundation, the State Agency for Bulgarians Abroad, and Sofia Municipality.
