On 23 May 2025, the ‘13 Centuries of Bulgaria’ National Endowment Fund made a donation of 46 books as well as drawings from the 2024 ‘Together in Art for a Better Future’ Competition to the ‘Neophite Bozveli – 1928’ Community Centre in Sofia.
The gift included books from the St Kliment Ohridski University Press, together with monographs printed by them from the Fund’s series, ‘Contemporary Bulgarian Art. Names’, such as ‘Asen Peykov’, ‘Pavel Koychev’, ‘Hristo Stefanov’, ‘Rumen Skorchev’, ‘Genko Genkov’, ‘Lyuben Dimanov’, ‘Vezhdi Rashidov’, ‘Jules Pascin’, ‘Encho Pironkov’, ‘Elza Goeva’, and ‘Kalina Taseva’.
The drawings were were originally produced for the fourth edition of the National Youth Competition, organised by NEF ‘13 Centuries of Bulgaria’. Pupils aged 14 to 19 from seven national secondary schools and schools with a profile in the field of visual arts under the auspices of the Ministry of Culture, took part in the competition.
