Yan Bibiyan Bulgarian School in Münster realises its project, thanks to NEF ‘13 Centuries of Bulgaria’

The Yan Bibiyan Bulgarian School in Münster, Germany, implemented its project titled ‘Green School: Perceiving Nature as a Classroom for Learning the Bulgarian Language’, thanks to the Fund’s financial support of NEF ‘13 Centuries of Bulgaria’ through its session, ‘“Sacred Language of My Forebears…”: Let Us Support Bulgarian Language Learning in Sunday Schools Abroad’.

This initiative successfully combines learning the native language with practical open-air activities, in a non-urban environment, close to nature. In an innovative way, the Bulgarian Sunday School team in Münster seeks to encourage children to love the surrounding nature, improve their language skills, develop their sense of community and, above all, strengthen their motivation for learning the Bulgarian language.
