On 27 March 2025, at the Sarafs’ House, regional centre of the ‘13 Centuries of Bulgaria’ National Endowment Fund, an evening event dedicated to folklore took place, with pupils from the Sts Cyril and Methodius Primary School in Samokov participating.
Bulgarian folk tales, including ‘The Most Precious Fruit’, ‘The Lazy Daughter-in-law’, ‘Boy and the Wind’, and ‘Sly Petar the Mute’, were performed during a dramatisation session.
The Sts Cyril and Methodius Primary School, the first municipal school in Samokov, has long-established traditions in education. This event was one of the initiatives organised to mark the 225th anniversary of the school’s founding.
